Hey guys, so recently we received some news from Bethesda that Sony have decided to cancel the installation of PS4 mods to Fallout 4. After all this time we've been waiting, Sony turned around and told us to go fuck ourselves. Personally, I am very disappointed about Sony's decision as I use PS4 at my main gaming platform, and like I expressed in my first blog about Fallout 4, PS4 mods were something I, and lots of others, were looking forward to in the future, for both Fallout 4 and Skryim special edition.
Bethesda have expressed that they are still trying to get some sort of mod support for Fallout 4 onto the PS4, but for the time being they are stumped. They have also expressed that they have been ready to install mods onto the PS4 for a while but Sony refused due to the fact that Sony is very strict on what goes onto their consoles, like naked mods, etc. Which, I'm not going to lie, I was excited for the slooty armor mods and the body morph mods, but that's only because the vanilla boobs and ass are flatter than your grandmas tittys. I mean, body sliders on those aspects would've been nice. Cough, melons, cough.
In all seriousness though, people have said that maybe Bethesda's trying to make Sony look bad but I don't believe that's true. Bethesda are normally on top of complaints and quality of their games, so I don't think they would be the cause of PS4 mods not happening, all evidence points to Sony's strict rules on what goes on their consoles, and as annoying as it is, that's that. Although some people have said they're switching consoles because of this, I won't be. Even if I am disappointed I still love the way my PS4 runs games, and the fact that it's specifically designed for gaming, not to imitate a PC like XBOX does. I mean, with Playstation, you're getting a console specifically for gaming, if you're getting an XBOX, you might aswell just be getting a downgraded PC. If you're thinking about getting an Xbox, I'd suggest splurging on a gaming PC that you can upgrade, keep for longer and is generally a better quality. With Xbox, every time a new one comes out you spend like £300 on a new one, whereas with PC you spend £500+ getting the stuff and then you get to keep it for the next 10 - 20 years depending on how well you look after it. You get more for your money and if one little thing breaks, you don't need to spend £300 on a new one, you just spend a bit on the part and replace it.
Back to what I was originally talking about though, PS4 mods. I hope Bethesda do manage to come up with a new idea without Sony, or convince Sony to let them install it. They let them install mods to Farming Simulator, and even though they aren't on the scale of which the mods for Fallout 4 could be, it's still not fair at all to let one game have mods but not Fallout. I hope Sony will just get the fuck over whatever they have against slooty armor mods soon and just let us have mods.
Anyways guys, that's all for today! I hope you enjoyed reading and come back for more whenever because we upload whenever! Adios!
